The Moorings, Naples Florida
Moorings Summary
The Moorings is a community just north of downtown Naples. The Moorings is made up of single family homes, homes on bays with gulf access, and condos including some the bays and the beach. (See aerial view). Area homes and condo where built primarily from the 1960's up to the early 1980's
Mooring residents are either on the gulf, or the bay, or within a short distance. The Naples location is very appealing as it is close to Olde Naples and most of Naples attractions. Beautiful banyan trees line the streets and neighborhoods of many of the single family home areas.
Some of the earlier built homes sitting on prime locations on and off the bay have been subsequently torn down and replaced with luxury homes. Condos on the beach and bays are generally buildings of eight stories or less. Many of the bay side condos have docks available for residents to lease or purchase.
Moorings Beach Condos
Beach condos in the Moorings area were built mostly in the 1960s and the 1970s, with the exception of the Sancerre which was built in 2003. Condos can range in size from 1,000 sq. ft to over 4,000 sq. ft.
Most the buildings will have a common laundry, vs. an in-residence wash and dryer. Views could either be to the west towards to beach and gulf or to the east. Many owners of the older condos have updated their unit with granite, tile floor and other niceties.

Moorings Bay Condos
Many condos are located on the Moorings Bay. Those owners/building with docks have gulf access through Doctor's Pass (See Photo). Residents usually have just a short walk to the beach by way of several public beach access points. The building associations include:
