Summary

The Legends Golf and Country Club in Ft. Myers is a newer country club community developed by Lennar. The community offers 18 holes of championship golf, clubhouse, driving range, dining, exercise facilities, and many more amenities. The Legends Ft. Myers include condos in 4 story buildings, garden homes (two story), and single family homes, both large and small. The community has over 1,300 residences in total, but only 800 homes come with golf membership. When you own or buy one of these 800 homes, then golf equity to the Legends is automatically included. The remaining homes have social membership only, which include all the Club's amenities, excluding golf.

Location

The Legends is located just 10 minutes from the Ft. Myers airport (but not under flight plans). And Ft Myers and Sanibel beaches are less than 10 miles away. For baseball fans, the Minnesota Twins spring training camp is a short drive. It's convenient to many areas including the Bell Tower Shops off of Daniels Blvd and US 41.

Golf Course

The Legends Golf course is one of the few in the Southwest Florida area with generous fairways. At the Legends you can step up to the tee and not be afraid of "gripping it, and ripping it." What also makes the Legends enjoyable to play, is that the front and back nines are equal distances. The course and putting greens play in great condition.
