Although the majority of golf courses in the area are private, there is a good selection of semi-private and public courses. With a little planning, a foursome can always find a tee time for 18 holes. It takes a little more planning and coordination, if your group wants to get in 36 holes/per day. Plan to spend some bucks, if you want to play some of Naples nicer golf courses during the winter season.

  • Stoneybrook Golf Club  239.948.3933 East 1/2 mile of I75 on Corkscrew Rd (Exit 123).  Position on Map:  1. Comments Wide range of tee boxes, slopes and ratings to select from. Good choice for value golfing.    Yards: 7,353 to 4,672.
  • Raptor Bay Golf Club  239.390.4610 Three miles north of Bonita Beach Rd on Tamiami (41). Then west on Coconut Rd.  Position on Map: 2. Comments An enjoyable golfing experience. Excellent condition. Generous fairways provide lower slope ratings. Part of hotel/development, so it can be pricey.  Yards: 6,702 to 5,217.
  • Palmira Golf Club  239.949.4466 East two miles of I75 on Bonita Beach Rd.   Position on Map:  3. Comments This course plays very sweet. Great overall golfing experience. Undulating fairways and green. Plenty of memorable holes here. Beautifully decorated. If you game is on, you will really like this course. Yards: 7,403 to 4,699.
  • Heritage Bay  239.353.2561. Twenty seven holes of sweet golf. Position on Map: 5. Newly built in 2006 and instantly liked. Find out more.
  • Valencia Golf and Country Club  239.352.0777 Nine miles east of I75 on Immokalee Road.   Position on Map:  5 Comments Well liked course. Surrounded by community under development, but that does not distract from quality of play. Well worth a visit. Usually a good priced value. Yards: 7145 to 4,724.
  • Tiburon Golf Club  239.594.2040 Northeast corner of Vanderbilt and Airport Roads.   Position on Map:  6 Comments Greg Norman designed, 27 holes. Site of the Norman Shoot Out. Beautiful, upscale course with lots of amenities. This course can be very pricey to play. Yards: 7193 to 4,988.
  • Naples Beach Hotel and Golf Club  239.262.2222 One mile south of Golden Gate on Tamiami (41)   Position on Map:  7 Comments If you want an old time course then the Naples Beach Hotel's golf course is for you. Built in the 1920's, but don't let that prevent you from giving it a try.  Stop in the hotel's beach bar for a burger afterwards. Yards: 6,488 to 5,142.

  • Rookery at Marco  239.793.6060 Four miles south of US 41 on Collier Blvd. Fiddler's Creek entrance.  Position on Map:  11 Comments Owned by Marriot hotel. Guests get discount on play. Wide fairways. Many holes have a links style feel. Yards: 7180 to 5,029.
