Season Rentals - Naples Area

Naples is unlike many beach destinations as the beach in Naples is bordered primarily by private residences. There are only a handful of hotels on the beach, and they are generally upscale properties (such as the Ritz). All the popular chain hotels have properties in the Naples Area. Most communities restrict rentals to 30 minimums. So for the typical short-term visit, it's best to work with a travel agent or online booking service.

Many homeowners in Naples offer their properties for rent during the season, or throughout the year. These units make up the bulk of the rental market, and are for the most part, restricted to one month minimums. Many of the condo buildings on the beach, have 90 day restrictions.

How to Find Rental Properties

If you want to do it the easy way, than contact a rental agent. There is no charge to the renter for this service.

  • No Pets - Fido or Fluffy might be more behaved, and better toilet trained than aunt Alice, but Alice is welcomed and Fido is not.

  • Weekly Rentals - Contact your travel agent or your favorite hotel chain.

  • Five bedroom home with pool near beach for family reunion - ain't happening in Naples.

  • Home on the beach for Wedding. Don't call.

  • Efficiency unit of the beach - Daytona, yes - Naples, no.

Pricing

Pricing varies greatly by season, size of unit and location. Prices can range from $2,000 to well over $10,000 per month.

  • Rental for two or three months is a better value than one month. Property owners prefer renting for three months, before they would consider just a one month rental.

  • Renting during Nov and Dec can be a good value, because rents are less and the weather is good. See related information on Naples weather.

  • Sales taxes are to be added to the base pricing of seasonal rentals.

  • Other fees may be added to the base pricing, so be sure to confirm all charges.

  • Season rentals usually require prepayment of the entire rental amount.
