Grand Hotel Santa Lucia

I highly recommend this hotel. Beautiful Hotel and great location. Hotel is elegant and staff was helpful and courteous.

This hotel was recommended by a trust friend and high level travel advisor. That being said...we took his advice. On arrival the facility was very welcoming even though we arrived at 8:30 am they went out of their way to get us into a room as soon as they could. The decor was beautiful and very well kept. Once we go to the room we found that to be very neat and clean also. Small room but that's what Europe is. When we tried to turn the air conditioning on the fan started but the compressor never kicked in. I tried what I could and then went down to the desk. I was told that the system is broken and most likely will be abandoned. Fine...that's their prerogative but...air conditioning is advertised amenity that was not provided. It's always a must-have for us as my wife has an asthmas condition that triggers in the heat. Bed was comfy. Bathroom small but everything needed was there. Never turned on the TV but it was there. The breakfast area was beautiful and the service there was top notch. I fine selection of things from traditional eggs and bacon to cured meats and cheeses, fruits and cereals. Oh...and the cakes and pastries!!!! Lovely. Hard to give it a "very good" rating but I think I still have to. Maybe not...I'm torn on this one. They will probably work out the AC problem sooner or later but the fact that they offered nothing for the inconvenience or weren't even remorseful...

pleasant hotel by the sea, but close to popular sites of historical interest [we often walked on our historical tours with a guide; we were in an historical tour group travelling for 2 weeks in Naples]. staff very professional & always helpful. regarding value - I'm unsure because it was part of the package. I'd be happy to recommend this hotel. Naples is amazing & well worth the 24 hr flight from Aus.

Magnifico hotel in una splendida zona di Napoli. La nostra camera, al quarto piano, godeva di una vista spettacolare, dal Vesuvio alla collina di Posillipo. Molto professionale, gentile e accoglientie lo staff, dal personale della reception ai camerieri e cameriere e i facchini. Abbiamo provato il ristorante dell'hotel e lo consigliamo vivamente. Un grazie a Dario del ristorante, per la sua squisita cortesia.
