Grand Hotel Santa Lucia

Book this! I searched for months, at least 50 properties in Naples and Positano for our family of 4. The family suite is huge with two rooms and each has a balcony. This is a 4+ I'd say even 5 star hotel. Immaculately clean, the first day they brought fresh pastries while we were away, amazing free breakfast, helpful lobby staff, piano bar every night and more. Even the city view rooms all have a sea view from balconies! The location is VERY walkable, quieter than the city area and more calm along the sea. I'd read mixed reviews on this site, but found nothing but excellence at this property. It is stunning.

This is a beautiful facility, well located with a staff ready to be of assistance. They were professional, kind, friendly and went out of their way to offer their services. The food was excellent and the rooms very comfortable. Highly recommend.

Selecting a hotel is stressful, overwhelming and a gamble (especially in a foreign country) but in this case my leap of faith paid off. The Grand Hotel Santa Lucia was just as billed. Perfectly located for me (walking distance to the port, close to the train station and well within reach to more restaurants and sights than I can list) and staffed by polite, professional and helpful staff who catered to my admitted American requirements (e.g. extra pillows, an oscillating fan in the room, etc.) and their breakfast was most satisfying. There was zero street noise, the room was spacious and comfortable, the shower and bathroom were large and clean and the view from the balcony (which I do wish had been wider such that I could sit and enjoy it more) was stellar. All in all I give an honest 5-star 10.0 rating to the Grand Hotel Santa Lucia.
