Sorrento is about 50 kilometers (30 miles) from Naples and there are a number of ways to travel between the two cities. The cheapest way to reach Sorrento from Naples is the local Circumvesuviana train; trains depart every 30 minutes and it takes about an hour to make the trip. You can also take a ferry from the Molo Beverello port in Naples; it takes about 40 minutes to make the trip from Naples to Sorrento.
