The art of luxury

A spectacular explosion of light, Romeo Hotel's steel and glass facade has been designed by Kenzo Tange & Associates, the leading Japanese architectural firm, responsible for the restructuring of Naples' old Palazzo Lauro.

Romeo houses an impressive collection of contemporary art, including works realized especially for the hotel by Francesco Clemente, Lello Esposito, and Sergio Fermariello

Public and private pleasures

In the hotel's public areas, Hermès' chairs alternate with the armchairs designed by Philppe Starck and Antonio Citterio's B&B furniture and rare antique items dating from the 14th to 18th century.
Romeo Hotel offers 83 luxurious guest rooms, including 24 wonderfully spacious suites overlooking the sea and Mount Vesuvius.

Sushi and spa

Artistic and exuberant, a perfect combination of rigor and modernity, the Romeo hotel's Lobby is a large and refined lounge with sofas and armchairs of design, fireplace, prestigious art collections, Cigar Room, Library, il Salotto dei Giochi, the new game room with pool table and vintage Juke Box, and finally the well-known Sushi Bar & Restaurant.

The ultimate and urban SPA Dogana del Sale, located at the basement of the hotel, offers a wide range of massages and personalized face and body treatments.

Life on the top

Romeo's "Il Comandante" restaurant located on the rooftop of the hotel, enjoys stunning views over the Bay of Naples and the island of Capri. Un hotel dal design curato ma senza anima

Avevo grandi aspettative per l’Hotel Romeo, ma l’esperienza non le ha pienamente soddisfatte. Gli ambienti, pur eleganti e curati nei dettagli, risultano troppo scuri e privi di quella luminosità che ci si aspetterebbe in una città come Napoli. L’atmosfera generale appare fredda e poco accogliente, più vicina a un contesto internazionale che all’anima autentica partenopea. Da architetto, ho colto il tentativo di richiamare la tradizione locale con elementi di design ispirati alla cultura napoletana, ma il risultato sembra artificiale, forzato, e non riesce a trasmettere il calore e la vitalità che contraddistinguono la città. Anche il servizio segue la stessa linea: professionale ma distaccato, privo di quella spontaneità e ospitalità che rendono Napoli così speciale. Un progetto ambizioso, ma che finisce per smarrire l’identità del luogo, rinunciando proprio a ciò che dovrebbe renderlo unico.

Good but could be so much better

An expensive hotel in a great position but overpriced for what it offers the modernist design at reception doesn't really work the room design with the bathroom is terrible the shower - did not drain and the toilet is really awful the service at reception was great but at the Bar quite unfriendly overall for the price not great and I doubt we will return

Great if you avoid the terrace bar and restaurant

The hotel is beautiful, front desk staff is friendly and helpful. Waitstaff at terrace restaurant is horrible. If you want to have dinner or a drink, go somewhere nearby. Two nights in a row we waited half an hour at a table and finally had to ask for service. Will not try it the third time.

Super soirée au restaurant Hotel Romeo naples situe au 9 étage. le chef Alessandro lucassino nous a régalé une cuisine très créative tout en saveur délicate avec de vrais produits le chef a eu la gentillesse de venir nous saluer un homme discret agréable il a répondu avec une grande gentillesse a nos questions un grand merci a toute l'équipe pour ce très agréable moment.
