Embark on a private excursion to discover the ancient ruins of Pompeii and Herculaneum, followed by a visit to the majestic Mount Vesuvius. Your tour includes a knowledgeable private driver and the opportunity to explore the vineyards on the slopes of the volcano, where you can taste wines from over a thousand years of volcanic vineyard history.
Enjoy a delicious lunch featuring a selection of local delicacies, including a platter of cured meats and cheeses, local jams, honey, and bruschetta with extra virgin olive oil, accompanied by grilled vegetables. The first course will be traditional spaghetti with Pomodoro del Piennolo, a characteristic tomato variety from Mount Vesuvius, followed by meatballs in tomato sauce as the main dish. For dessert, indulge in a slice of Pastiera di Grano, a classic Neapolitan wheat pie. To finish, sip on a traditional Papaccela liqueur, made from a rare apricot variety that grows only in the Vesuvius National Park.

The tour of Pompeii, Herculaneum and Mount Vesuvius lasts an entire day (around 8 hours) departing from Sorrento, Positano or any other village on the Amalfi Coast. Transfers are by sedan or minivan based on the number of passengers. We can also include a stop at a local farm at the foot of Mount Vesuvius to sample some of the local specialties, and at the end of the tour you will receive a bottle of Limoncello di Sorrento as a gift.

The driver’s name is Pepe. He is very knowledgeable of the area and incredibly accommodating. The drive along the Amalfi coast was very comfortable.

Where can I start, it was amazing few days and made even better with Aniello. Every detail meticulously covered to ensure we were well taken care of. They communicated well, the van was perfect, clean, and comfortable. Aniello even set up some stops for breakfast and lunch for us at some amazing places.
Our trip over the three days included a multitude of services: pickup from the Naples Airport, Pompeii private tour, wine tasting, transportation to our AirBnB in Aregola, full day tour of the Amalfi Coast, back to our AirBnB and then the next morning Aniello drove us to Rome where we met the rest of the larger travel group.
Our favorite things we did were the Pompeii tour and the Amalfi Coast tour (so many amazing sites and places seen). When we come back, we will definitely use this company and request Aniello again. Aniello, thank you for making our first trip to Italy amazing and starting it off on the right foot.
