- Continue on foot to the Gran Cono ticket office (about 20 minutes uphill)
- Visit the crater with an expert alpine-volcanology guide from Vesuvius National Park (entry ticket included)
- Lunch break in a pizzeria on the slopes of the volcano (margherita or marinara pizza and soft drink)
- Transport to Pompeii
- Skip-the-line tour of Pompeii archeological park (approximately 2 hours) with an authorized archaeological guide (entry ticket included)

Total stitch up.All you do is pay 24euro for a short boat trip and then be told theres a 3 hour wait.They know when they sell you the ticket and are more than happy ( and prepared ) to bring you straight back. My daughter was devistated.This is a planned money grabbing stitch up.You are being robbed blind.Absolutely no acknowledgement and only the offer of a trip round the island.Legalised robbery.Only the moderator stops me from writing this in plain English.
